Danbury Library to Host Puzzle Swap and Challenge This Weekend

The event is for those aged 10 and up, and no registrationis required.

DANBURY, CT — Residents who enjoy jigsaw puzzles can test their skills and trade completed sets at an upcoming event at the Danbury Public Library.

The library, 170 Main St. in Danbury, will host a “Solve and Swap Community Puzzling” event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, in its second-floor conference room.

Participants ages 10 and older are invited to work together to complete a puzzle within a two-hour time limit.

The number of pieces will depend on attendance, and completion times will be recorded, according to the library.

In addition to the timed challenge, attendees can exchange previously completed puzzles for new ones.

To qualify for the swap, puzzles must have at least 300 pieces, be in good condition, include all pieces, and be brought in their original box inside a plastic bag.

“Have puzzles and want new-ish ones? Stop by our library to swap what you have while participating in our friendly competition,” the library wrote in its event announcement.

No registration is required.
