DANBURY, CT — CityCenter Dabury will be doing its best to make downtown merry and bright when it lights the big tree on Saturday, Dec. 1. Mayor Mark Boughton will throw the switch.
The free event is the official kick-off to the Hat City Christmas season, and there will be no shortage of carolers, cookies, hot chocolate and jolly ol' elves: Santa will be arriving by fire truck (courtesy of Beckerle Hose Company).
The festivities will unfold 5-7:00 p.m. on the library plaza.
