Danbury Looks to Add 27 Acres to Portfolio of Preserved Lands
The property belonged to Victor Westman, who died earlier this year and bequeathed his land to the city.

DANBURY — Danbury will add the 27 acres of the Westman property along Bear Mountain Road to its preserved properties in the fall, The News Times is reporting.
The property belonged to Victor Westman, who died earlier this year and bequeathed his land to the city.
The wooded and natural habitat would join the city’s $700,000 purchase earlier this year of 65 acres of woods and meadows on Long Ridge Road in a growing portfolio of preserved wild spaces.
