The man has been extradited back to Connecticut after fleeing to Pennsylvania.

DANBURY, CT — Police have extradited a Danbury man suspected of sexually assaulting a child back to Connecticut this week after he had fled to Pennsylvania, the News Times reported.
Luis “Alberto” Vega, 38, was arrested by state police in Pennsylvania earlier this month after an investigation into complaints that he had sexually assaulted a child under the age of 13 on several occasions.
The investigation began on Sept. 1 when the child’s parents contacted police about the allegations. The parents told police that Vega had abused the child multiple times and asked the child to keep it a secret. When she eventually told her parents, her mother contacted Vega, who admitted the abuse and said he wanted to kill himself.
