Danbury Man Arrested on Child Porn Charges: Police

DANBURY, CT -- Police arrested Steven Randi, 49, of 63 Clearview Avenue in Danbury for possession of child pornography.

The Danbury police report that, on August 9, 2017, they received information that Randi was in possession of child pornography. After investigation by the Special Victims Unit, an arrest warrant was issued by Danbury Superior Court.

Police say that upon learning about the issuance of the warrant, Randi surrendered himself at the Danbury Police Department on May 17. He was processed without incident and released after posting a court set bond of $100,000.

Randi is scheduled to appear in Danbury Superior Court on May 24.
