Danbury Man Arrested on Multiple Drug Charges: Police
The arrest followed a weeks-long investigation prompted by complaints from the public about suspicious activity in the area.

DANBURY, CT — Police charged a man with a number of drug-related offenses following a weeks-long investigation. Two others were issued infractions.
Responding to complaints from the public related to Dennis Jordan Ordonez-Ramos, 21, selling illicit drugs from his residence at 23A Woodside Avenue Extension, Danbury, and the area around the Eden Drive housing complex, police began an investigation.
On Wednesday at around noon, police initiated a surveillance of Ordonez-Ramos' residence, and observed him engage in a hand-to-hand transaction with the operator of a vehicle parked on Eden Drive, according to a police report. Police stopped the vehicle after it had driven away and seized a quantity of marijuana, according to the report.

At approximately, police seized Ordonez-Ramos along with a substantial quantity of marijuana, packaging material and drug paraphernalia. Police determined that a person accompanying him was also in possession of marijuana, which had been purchased from Ordonez-Ramos.

Ordonez-Ramos was placed under arrest and transported to Danbury PD headquarters. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell within 1500’ of prohibited place, sale of a controlled substance within 1500’ of a prohibited place, sale of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was held on a $25,000 bond.
