Danbury Man Found Guilty Of Sexually Assaulting 5-Year-Old: Officials
Evidence showed Jacques Carter sexually assaulted a child over a 2-year period when the child was between the ages of 5 and 6, officials say
DANBURY, CT — A Danbury man was found guilty of multiple counts of sexually assaulting a child under the age of six.
A jury rendered the verdict against Jacques Carter, 28, on Nov. 7.
The Danbury State's Attorney said evidence showed Jacques Carter, 28, sexually assaulted a child over a two-year period when the child was between the ages of 5 and 6 years old. The encounters involved multiple acts of fellatio, anal intercourse and forced masturbation under physical threats from the Danbury man.

Carter was found guilty of five counts of first-degree sexual assault, four counts of risk of injury to a child, and one count of fourth-degree sexual assault.
Sentencing is scheduled for Feb. 6, 2024 in Danbury Superior Court.
