Danbury Mayor-Elect Names New Chief Of Staff
Danbury Mayor-Elect Dean Esposito has named Roger Palanzo as his incoming chief of staff.

DANBBURY, CT — Mayor-Elect Dean Esposito has named Roger Palanzo as his incoming chief of staff.
Esposito will be sworn into office on Nov. 30.
Palanzo is the current Economic Development Director for the City of Danbury, a position he has held since January 2016. Prior to this role, Palanzo served as the constituent services coordinator in the Mayor's office from November 2011 until January 2016. The new appointment came on Wednesday.

"Roger Palanzo is a lifelong Danbury resident who has the right combination of experience needed to serve as chief of staff of my incoming administration. He has been a terrific economic development director working to implement our strategic plan of smart and focused growth. He also has a proven track record in constituent services during Mayor Boughton’s tenure," Esposito said.
Palanzo has owned and operated several local Danbury businesses and has worked for the City of Danbury since November 2011. He earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from St. Leo University, and is a 1982 graduate of Henry Abbott Technical High School in Danbury.
