Danbury Mayor Expected To Be Released From Hospital Friday

DANBURY, CT — Mayor Dean Esposito is expected to be released from Danbury Hospital Friday following treatment for a stomach ulcer, according to City spokeswoman Lindsay Seti.

Esposito spent Wednesday night and Thursday in the hospital for observation and additional testing, following a visit to a gastroenterologist who recommended he seek medical attention.

"I want to thank the community for all of your well wishes and support, and I look forward to returning to work next week serving the people of Danbury," Esposito said.
