Danbury Mayor Makes Pick for Next Police Chief

The City Council is expected to approve a replacement for retiring Police Chief Al Baker next month.

DANBURY, CT — Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton has recommended Stratford Police Chief Patrick Ridenhour to be the city’s next police chief, according to the Connecticut Post.

The Post reports Boughton has picked Ridenhour as his top choice out of a field of four to replace retiring Police Chief Al Baker and will make the recommendation at the City Council’s June meeting.

Ridenhour has been Stratford’s police chief since 2012.
