Danbury PD Chief, Emergency Director, To Shave Heads For Charity
Two of the city's top crisis leaders are shaving their heads to help raise money and awareness to fight childhood cancer.
DANBURY, CT — Two of the city's top crisis leaders are shaving their heads for a good cause.
Matthew Cassavechia, Danbury’s emergency management director, and Police Chief Police Chief Patrick Ridenhour have signed on to the annual St. Baldrick's head-shaving event to help raise money and awareness to fight childhood cancer.
Cassevechia is just $122 shy of his $5,000 goal, as of Monday afternoon. The Chief has raised $1,549 of his $2,500 target contribution. The overall event goal is $25,000, and the St. Baldrick's Foundation is $524 short of their $25,000 goal.
