Danbury Police Arrest Hartford Man on Drug Charges
The suspect crashed out of a nearby window while officers were investigating another case.

DANBURY, CT — Police arrested a Hartford man on multiple drug charges Friday night.
While Danbury police were investigating a violent crime that had occured early in the week, Jose A. Ramos of Edgewater Street in Hartford crashed out of a nearby window and began to flee. Officers gave chase, and say they saw Ramos discard a plastic bag in the Auto Zone parking lot, located at 336 Main Street. Ramos was arrested in the parking lot near Main Street. The plastic bag contained marijuana, cocaine, crack-cocaine, and heroin, and addition bags of cocaine were found in Ramos' sweatshirt pocket, according to the police report.
Ramos was charged with multiple counts of possession of narcotics and controlled substances with intent to sell within 1,500 feet of housing/school, and interfering with the duties of a police officer. He was held on a $250,000 bond
