Danbury Police Arrest Man Facing Attempted Murder Charge

A New Milford man was arrested on Sunday for charges of attempted murder, police said.

Danbury Police detectives arrested Johnny W. Cruz, 36 at his home in New Milford. Cruz was charged by warrant with criminal attempt to commit murder.

Cruz’s bond was set at $500,000 before his arraignment at Danbury Superior Court on Monday.

The Bridgeport Police Detective Bureau were also involved with the investigation.

Police said no further information is available as the arrest warrant in the case is sealed.
