Danbury Police Assist NY Troopers After Stolen Vehicles Cross Border

Danbury officers helped New York State Police apprehend suspects after two stolen vehicles crossed into Connecticut.

DANBURY, CT — Danbury police assisted New York State Police on Friday after two stolen vehicles crossed the state border into Connecticut.

One of the vehicles was stopped near Carriage House Drive, where officers quickly detained one of two occupants, according to a statement from police. With help from area residents, the second occupant was located and taken into custody shortly afterward, police said. No injuries were reported.

The second vehicle fled the area, and its occupants were later found in another municipality, according to police.
