Danbury Police and Fire Units Respond to Blaze at Restaurant

DANBURY, CT -- City Police and Fire Departments responded to a report of a fire in the El Bacano Restaurant on Saturday night.

When Danbury police first responded to the location at 11 Railroad Place, they found a kitchen fire. Firefighters reported smoke showing and upgraded the incident to a working fire.

Captain Bill Lounsbury coordinated efforts to get the fire under control, according to a social media post from the Fire Department.

The incident is currently under investigation by the Fire Marshal's office.
