Danbury Police Investigating Hit & Run That Left Woman Hospitalized

The 52-year-old woman appeared to have been hit by a vehicle and dragged, ending up in a Division Street driveway.

DANBURY, CT — Police are looking for the public's assistance in their investigation of a car that struck a pedestrian on Monday night.

At around 9:42 p.m., Danbury police officers responded to a call about a person down in the area of 1 Division Street. First responders found a 52-year-old woman in the driveway of 3 Division Street who appeared to have been hit by a vehicle and dragged.

No witnesses have come forward, and the suspect vehicle is unknown.

The victim is currently being treated in Danbury Hospital for injuries reported to be moderate, but not life-threatening, according to police spokesperson Erin Henry.
