Danbury Police Log: Truck Versus Bicycle
The following information was provided by the Danbury Police Department.

The Danbury Police Department is looking for eyewitnesses to a truck versus bicycle accident that happened near Chuck's Steakhouse at about 7 p.m. Sunday.
Police said Brian Ashley of Scuppo Road, Danbury, was driving south in the north lane on his Quasar Raptor bicycle at about 7:34 p.m. Sunday, when he was struck by a 2005 Chevy pickup truck driven by Carl Catalantto of New Fairfield. Police said Catalantto was driving north in the north lane when the truck hit the bicycle. Police said Catalantto said he didn't see the bicylist until the accident because the bicyclist was wearing dark clothing.
Ashley was transported to Danbury Hospital after the accident. Police are looking for any information they can get from eyewitnesses to the accident, which occurred at about dinner time outside Chuck's Steakhouse.
