Danbury Police Officer Has A Little Fun During The Storm
One DPD officer shows some serious winter prowess while playing in the snow on Sunday during a pause amid an otherwise busy day.

DANBURY, CT — The city's police department unveiled a humorous little nugget of information on Tuesday about how one officer enjoyed the snowstorm on Sunday.
Make no mistake, the Danbury Police Department was busy during the nasty storm that dumped more than 15 inches of snow on the city.
"Our officers were out throughout the snowstorm responding to calls, assisting motorists, and supporting Public Works," wrote the DPD on Facebook

"During a brief period with no active calls, Officer (Gabe) Campos decided to take advantage of the fresh snow."
Underneath the posting was a photo of a DPD cruiser and a perfect snow angel, showing a police officer may grow up from being a child, but you can't take the child out of the police officer.

Campos is one of the department's younger officers, having been sworn in as an officer in 2024 after a stint as a DPD Cadet.
"Now that the storm has passed, we hope everyone is dug out, shoveled, and staying warm," wrote the DPD.
