Danbury Police Seek Driver In 'Serious' Hit-And-Run Collision
The car was moving at a "high rate of speed," according to a witness.
DANBURY, CT — Police are searching for the driver the say struck a pedestrian in a "serious hit-and-run collision" on Saturday morning.
Police say a pedestrian walking on the grass in the area of 84 and 86 Lake Avenue was struck by a blue 2007 Chrysler Sebring with New York plates, license number JKG1933.
The car was traveling eastbound on Lake Avenue "at a high rate of speed," police said. The same car was seen moving "erratically" from Kenosia Avenue, and passing vehicles on the right, according to a report police received from a witness.

The pedestrian was taken to Danbury Hospital and treated for injuries from the collision. No information has been made available about their condition.
