DANBURY, CT — The Danbury Police Department will be participating in National Drug Take Back Day on April 30.

On social media, the police are encouraging residents to clean out their medicine cabinets and drop off unused medicines in the front lobby of the Danbury Police Department at 375 Main Street between 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

The police are warning that "Medicines in the home are a leading cause of accidental poisoning and flushed or trashed medicines can end up polluting our waters."
