DANBURY, CT — We're on the August side of summer, which means the schools are finalizing their hiring efforts. Your local district has several available jobs it is looking to fill.

It's important to note that these positions are either vacant or mandated by the state or federal government.

The school system is not adding new positions to the budget. Over the past decade, school districts have been reducing positions as enrollment has continued to drop across the state and county.
