Danbury Republican Councilwoman Resigns Seat
The Danbury Republican Town Committee is expected to suggest an appointment for the position.

DANBURY, CT — Christina Chieffalo has resigned her at-large seat on the Danbury City Council after moving to Stamford, The News Times is reporting.
Chieffalo, a Republican, has served on the council since 2015. She was appointed to the seat vacated by Colleen Stanley, who also had moved out of the city. Stanley has since returned to Danbury and rejoined the council.
The Danbury Republican Town Committee is expected to suggest an appointment for the position.
