Danbury Resident Says AT&T U-Verse to Frontier Switch Negatively Impacts Business

"This AT&T U-verse internet and Frontier foul up is negatively impacting us," Danbury resident says.

Letter the the Editor:

We used AT&T U-verse internet service at our home in Danbury until Frontier took it over. I understand there’s bound to be issues with taking on new business, but it’s 2014, not 2004, these issues should have been anticipated and remedied immediately. We’ve been without internet service since Sunday night, completely unacceptable in 2014. When my husband called Frontier to see when it will be restored he was told “probably the end of the week”?!

I’m in graduate school and work from home, this AT&T U-verse internet and Frontier foul up is negatively impacting us and, according to news reports, apparently many other Connecticut residents. My husband explained that I rely on the internet for my business and the Frontier phone agent told him, “Oh well.”

I ask Frontier to be held accountable, issue us a credit and offer us free service for at least six months for this egregious mistake. We’d switch internet providers but there is no other affordable choice in Danbury. Please fix our service now!
