Danbury’s Arthur Murray Studio Wins Big at National Competition
Arthur Murray students and teachers took top honors at the Holiday Ball Dance-o-Rama.

From Arthur Murray of Danbury: They danced their hearts out and came home winners…Arthur Murray students and teachers took top honors at the Holiday Ball Dance-o-Rama at Gaylord’s Resort and Conference Center, Oxon, Md., December 6-9.
Fairfield’s Deb Hendrickson won top solo for her Fred and Ginger performance and Brookfield’s Dawn Grabover took second place in the all- around division. Placing third in the Future Champion Professional Competition was teacher Julio Sirianni and his partner, Samantha Lovetere. Danbury’s own Arthur Murray Dance Studio captured second place in the top Studio Category.
“We are so proud of all our dancers, they are all winners. And congratulations to the organizers of this fantastic event. Can’t wait to come back next year,” commented Andy Cabell, studio owner. Arthur Murray, celebrating its 40th anniversary, offers classes for every age from ballroom to Latin dancing to hip hop for kids.
