Danbury Seeks Grant For $2.9 Million Still River Bridge Repair

DANBURY, CT — The City Council has given permission this week for the mayor to further pursue a grant from the state Department of Transportation to repair a bridge over the Still River, the News-Times is reporting.
The grant would pay for 50 percent of eligible costs for the $2.9 million project. The DOT has already indicated the project would qualify for the grant based on the city’s preliminary application.
