Danbury Stores Among Recent Liquor License Suspensions in Connecticut

A total of 25 Connecticut establishments have had their liquor licenses suspended and/or paid a fine for violations since July.

DANBURY, CT — Since July, a total of 25 Connecticut establishments, including one in Bridgeport, have had their liquor licenses suspended by the Liquor Control Commission and/or paid fines for violations, according to data released by the state Department of Consumer Protection.

Pembroke Package Store at 7 Pembroke Road in Danbury will serve a one-day license suspension on Sept. 12 and paid a $500 fine for selling alcohol to a minor.

Papi's Liquor at 71 Lake Avenue in Danbury served a seven-day license suspension from Aug. 8-14 and paid a $1,500 fine for selling alcohol to a minor.
