Danbury Woman Faces Drunk Driving Charge In New York

She was one of three Connecticut women picked up by New York State police over the July 4 weekend

DANBURY, CT — New York State police accused three Connecticut women of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs over the July 4th weekend.

On July 5, New York State police arrested Rachel L. Ursitti, 29, of Danbury, CT, for DWI. She was traveling on State Route 22 in the town of Dover, when she was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed she was under the influence of alcohol, police alleged.

On July 6, New York State police arrested Ashley M. Rivera, 26, of New Britain, CT, for DWAI Drugs. She was traveling on Interstate 84 in the town of Southeast, when she was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed she was under the influence of drugs, police said.

On July 7, New York State police arrested Johanna Schrader-Fentress, 49, of Brookfield, CT, for DWI. She was traveling on Interstate 84 in the town of Kent, when she was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed she was under the influence of alcohol, police alleged.
