Deadline for New Student School Applications is Friday, Aug. 17
The Central Registration Office is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day this week and will stay open until 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

DANBURY, CT — The deadline for any new student to apply to Danbury Public Schools for the fall 2018 semester is this Friday, August 17.
The first day of school on August 31.
The Central Registration Office at 49 Osborne Street is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day this week and will stay open until 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

The parent or guardian must come to the Reception Center to register. Be sure to bring:
- Your children
- Your child's Birth certificate or passport
- Your child's immunization record and proof of physical exam (Blue Form)
- Your child's previous school records, if available
- Two emergency telephone numbers
- Two proofs of Residency in Danbury

If you are renting, bring a current notarized lease or a notarized statement from the landlord attesting to the fact that parent and child resides at the stated address.
If you are a homeowner, bring aA recorded deed or mortgage or a current property tax bill. The second proof of residency can be one of the following a current gas, electric, telephone or cable bill.
The whole process will take about an hour.
