'Despicable' Hateful Graffiti and Fliers Found at WCSU in Danbury
The fliers and graffiti were found on the campus of WCSU on Halloween night. Police are reviewing surveillance video, looking for answers
DANBURY, CT — Western Connecticut State University Police have asked for the public's assistance in their investigation of "hate-filled" fliers and graffiti which were discovered on campus Halloween night.
School President John B. Clark did not specify to whom or to what group the hate was directed, except to say that it was "despicable and utterly unacceptable behavior," in a release.
In addition to the campus constabulary, the Danbury PD, State Police and the FBI are all involved in the investigation. Clark said that it is possible the fliers originated off-campus. He has pledged when the responsible party is discovered, "they will be subject to the severest disciplinary actions, including dismissal as well as possible civil and criminal actions."
