Elizabeth LaCorte Joins Housatonic Habitat for Humanity
Danbury, CT -- Elizabeth LaCorte has joined Housatonic Habitat for Humanity as an intern, it was announced by Fran Norman, Habitat’s Executive Director. Says Norman, ”LaCorte is a valuable resource…currently she is providing support for task force members by assisting in re-organizing the organization’s Home Owners Program. She will be conducting community needs assessments to determine current housing needs for Danbury residents as well as formulating an economic profile for potential homeowners.”
Before joining Housatonic Habitat, LaCorte was a hematology account executive with Bayer U.S., promoting and selling hematology products to hospitals, physicians and other specialized medical and healthcare providers. Prior to that, she was a Customer Relations Specialist with Accredo, managing customer service benefit inquiries from members, providers and physicians.

La Corte researched Housatonic Habitat for her degree. “My research helped me better understand the impact that shortage of affordable housing has on our local communities. She holds a Masters of Public Health degree from Emory University as well as a Masters of Social Work from Fordham University.
