Ethan Allen Reports Higher Sales and Net Income

Ethan Allen reported net income rose from a loss in the fourth quarter of 2010 to a positive figure of $7.2 million. Net sales were reported at $178 million, a 9 percent increase over the $163 million reported in the fourth quarter of 2010.

"We are pleased at the growth in sales and net income during the fourth quarter and fiscal year," said Farooq Kathwari, chairman, president and CEO of Ethan Allen.

For the year that ended June 30, net sales rose 15.1 percent to $679 million, as compared to $590 million on June 30 2010.
