Ethan Allen Reports Higher Sales, Net Income

Ethan Allen Interiors reported net sales rose 12.2 percent over last year, while net income rose 127 percent over last year, when compared quarter to quarter.

"We are gratified to see continued improvements in our sales and profitability," said Company Chairman and CEO Farooq Kathwari.

According to the company's financial statements, net sales reached $184..9 million for the quarter that ended Sept. 30, while a year ago that figure was $164.8 million. For the same two quarters, net income rose from $3.8 million to $6.8 million.
