UPDATE: Fire Breaks Out At Danbury Deli

DANBURY, CT — A fire broke out late Friday morning at a deli on Mina's Carne and Deli on Osborne Street.

The Danbury Fire Department received the cal at 11:12 a.m., and was fortunate to have a truck just around the corner, which arrived at the scene three minutes later. Firefighters had the blaze under control by 11:20 a.m., according to the incident report posted n Facebook.

The bulk of the damage to the building was contained to the exterior with minimal smoke damage to the interior, officials posted. Due to the damage and type of occupancy, the Danbury Building Department and the City's Department of Health & Human Services also sent representatives to the scene.

No injuries were reported. The Danbury Fire Marshal’s Office is in the process of investigating the cause of the fire, which is currently undetermined.
