Firefighters Battle Grease Fire At New Fairfield Home

NEW FAIRFIELD, CT — Firefighters extinguished a grease fire at a Musket Ridge Road home on Sunday night.

First responders from the New Fairfield Volunteer Fire Department responded to the blaze around 9:37 p.m. They found that the fire extended to the exterior walls., according to their report. Firefighters also had to contend with a leaking propane tank at the scene.

No injuries were reported. The fire is under investigation by the New Fairfield Fire Marshal's Office.
