First Ever 'Light the Lights Winter Festival' On Tap For Danbury
Santa's making an early stop in Danbury this holiday season, and the city is rolling out the red and green carpet with an all-new festival.
DANBURY, CT — CityCenter Danbury in partnership with the City of Danbury will present the city's first ever Light the Lights Winter Festival on Dec. 3 from 1-7 p.m.
At the heart of the celebration will be Danbury's 40-foot holiday tree at its home on the CityCenter Green. Mayor Dean Esposito will do the official “light up” of downtown, and Santa will arrive by fire truck.
Santa's ride will be just one of many in the annual fire truck parade. Event organizers promise to transform Downtown Danbury into a "Winter Wonderland, with fun festivities for all ages."
