Four-Seat Aircraft Makes Emergency Landing at Danbury Airport

DANBURY, CT — A single engine plane experiencing problems with its landing gear made a safe landing Sunday at Danbury Airport, the Danbury Fire Department is reporting.

A four-seat Piper Warrior carrying two passengers had a problem with its left side landing gear while performing practice landings on the runway around 11:30 a.m. Sunday.

The plane made several fly-bys to allow the Tower to spot for any unseen damage, then made an emergency landing. No one was hurt, and there was little damage to the aircraft.
