Greenwich Cops Nab Danbury Man Off I-95
After cops pulled him over for a traffic infraction, they learned he had an active arrest warrant.

DANBURY, CT — Police pulled a Danbury man over for a motor vehicle violation and discovered there was an active warrant for his arrest.
Edwin Gonzalez-Martinez, 26, of Union Avenue in Danbury, was pulled over off I-95 a little before 1 a.m. on Friday for a traffic violation while driving in Greenwich. When an officer ran a criminal check, it was discovered that there was an active warrant for his arrest, according to the police report. Gonzalez-Martinez had a number of criminal charges related to driving in Danbury, in addition to missing court dates.
Gonzalez-Martinez was charged with second degree failure to appear in court, and was unable to meet the $500 bond. He is now scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Oct. 16.
