The Danbury Public Library this week is hosting a unique, virtual program on the art of stop-motion animation.

DANBURY, CT — If you're a fan of Gumby, then the Danbury Public Library's program this Wednesday, Jan. 28, just might be for you.
That's because the library is hosting a live, virtual program called "Introduction to Stop Motion Animation" with Lorenzo Volpintesta.
It will take place online at 5 p.m.

This beginner-friendly virtual workshop introduces folks to the "captivating and creative world of stop-motion animation."
Of course, stop-motion animation is exemplified by the popular, 1950/1960s cartoon "Gumby and Friends," which younger generations enjoyed for years in reruns.
