Housatonic Habitat Fundraiser Supports Repair Program for Seniors
Texas Roadhouse Rib Rally

The "Grab-N-Go" fundraising event, a partnership between Housatonic Habitat for Humanity and Texas Roadhouse, will be held from Saturday, February 15 through Saturday, February 29 at Texas Roadhouse, 74 Newtown Road in Danbury.
"Eat ribs and prevent falls," said Housatonic Habitat's Executive Director Fran Normann. "Thanks to the fundraiser with Texas Roadhouse, we will be raising $4 from every $12 meal sold to support our purchase of grab bars for our senior repair program." Housatonic Habitat, Texas Roadhouse, and many local senior and social services are raising funds as part of a joint "Brush with Kindness" repair program for those aging in place. The program is now in its fifth year and provides low-cost, light repairs for those in the Greater Danbury area. Fran added, "We are so pleased to repeat this successful fundraiser with Texas Roadhouse which helps so many within our communities."
Housatonic Habitat for Humanity focuses on making a meaningful difference in the lives of qualified working families by promoting financial stability and self-sufficiency through ownership of affordable homes.
