At Housatonic Habitat for Humanity, our focus is not just putting a roof over someone’s head. While we build homes for workforce families, we create change for hundreds of others who donate, volunteer, mentor, and shop to support our mission. We are both a builder … and a bank, which makes the Habitat home ownership model unique. Beyond the four walls, doors, roof, and a space to keep a family safe, we provide an interest-free mortgage with no PMI or down payment. Wow! The savings are tremendous.
