Latest Danbury Coronavirus Update: 436 Active Cases

Gov. Ned Lamont said Connecticut had 1,090 more positive coronavirus cases over the past day bringing the total number to 4,914.

DANBURY, CT — Mayor Mark Boughton confirmed there are 436 cases of the new coronavirus in the City, as of Friday.

The jump of over 130 cases from the previous day's report is more reflective of an earlier reckoning error on the part of the State Department of Public Health, and not necessarily indicative of an exceptional surge in the number of actual cases of COVID-19, Boughton said.
