Latest Danbury Coronavirus Updates

Here are the latest, local updates on how the coronavirus outbreak is impacting Danbury.

DANBURY, CT — The Connecticut Department of Public Health has reported there are 676 active cases of the new coronavirus in the City as of Sunday. That number does not include cases tested at private labs or outside Connecticut. On Saturday, Mayor Mark Bougton reported there were 714 active cases in Danbury, inclusive of all test centers. The number reported from the State was 669.

Statewide there were another 60 coronavirus-associated deaths and 525 positive cases reported on Sunday, with an increase in hospitalization by 61. To date there have been 12,035 confirmed coronavirus cases in Connecticut and 554 deaths. There are currently 1,654 people hospitalized for COVID-19.
