Lee William Johnson, 68, Of Danbury

Lee found his calling and a professional, supportive culture 16 years ago when he joined Fanacity Corp. as a Financial Operations Manager.

DANBURY, CT — Lee William Johnson, 68, of Danbury, formerly of Ridgefield, died on Monday, Dec. 4, 2023, at his home.

He was the husband of the late Nancy Christiansen Johnson.

Lee was born in Norwalk on July 9, 1955 to Joseph and Barbara (Lee) Johnson, he was raised in Ridgefield. He attended Ridgefield schools and graduated from Ridgefield High School with the Class of 1973 where he lettered in football, baseball, and basketball.

In addition to being an avid sportsman, family was always his prime interest. Lee was a beloved son, brother, uncle, husband, friend and employee. He found his calling and a professional, supportive culture 16 years ago when he joined Fanacity Corp. of Stamford, as a Financial Operations Manager.

Lee attended St. Peter Church, Danbury.

He is survived by two sisters, Wendy Perry and her husband David of No. Chelmsford, MA and Lynne Briody and her husband Kevin of Ridgefield and seven nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 11, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Peter Church, 121 Main St., Danbury.

Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Ridgefield.

The family will receive friends in the Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah St., Ridgefield on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m.

Contributions in Lee’s memory may be made to Praxair Cancer Center at Danbury Hospital.
