New Milford, CT -- Litchfield Crossings Executive Director Kristen N. Gizzi and Lt. Sean Delaney of the Water Witch Hose Co. No. 2 proclaimed a big thank you to the community of vendors, retailers and nonprofits that participated in the Center’s Community Day to raise funds for Water Witch Hose Company #2’s new fire engine.

“The day was a family-friendly event,’ said Gizzi, “and included kids crafts, music by Bach to Rock and car seat checks by the New Milford Police department with the highlight of the day being the various touch-a-truck vehicles that lined the parking lot. I’d like to thank everyone who gave of their time to make this day a success, the community who supported the event and especially the talented local artists and artisans who brought their handmade crafts for display and sale.”

She gave a special shout-out to: Denice Wittmann of Eklektikos, purveyor of fine jewelry, apparel, and accessories; New Milford’s own Rachel Rimmer and Tiffany Morrison of Two Knotty Hippies, who displayed their line of unique jewelry and fashion items, and to Sheila Silvernail of SilverDust with her fragrant soaps and beautiful, scented candles.
