DANBURY, CT — Firefighters working at the COVID-19 testing facility on Hospital Avenue responded to a residential fire on Saturday.

Members of the Danbury Fire Department and Nuvance Health Danbury Hospital paramedics all answered the call that came in a little before 2 p.m. for the two-story multi-family residence.

Firefighters made "quick work" of the blaze, according to a report on social media, and ll residents escaped without injury.
