Love Triangle Between Suspect, Victim and Possibly Pregnant Woman Led to Danbury Murder, Prosecutor Says: Report
The prosecutor said Thursday that gang activity was also involved in the 2014 murder outside of a Danbury night club.

DANBURY, CT — A love triangle involving the suspect and the victim of a murder outside of the Mambo Cafe in May of 2014 was tied to the killing by a prosecutor Thursday, reports the News Times.
In court Thursday, Senior Assistant State's Attorney Jason Germain cited phone calls that Garfield Sanderson made in jail which point to a woman who may have been pregnant and was in a love triangle with Sanderson and the victim, 23-year-old Jeiel Kingston of Bridgeport. Germain also definitively told the judge that gang activity was a possible motive in the case.
Sanderson is accused of shooting Kingston outside of the Mambo Cafe in 2014. Police had responded to the club for a fight, and found Kingston laying on the ground on White Street with wounds in his chest after hearing the gunshots.
