Mayor Boughton Collapses At Event, Sent To Hospital: Report
Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton was attending a governor candidate event when he collapsed.

DANBURY, CT — Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton was revived with CPR after collapsing at a governor candidate meet and greet event in Avon Thursday night.
Boughton was attended to by fellow GOP candidate Prasad Srinivasan, a physician, according to the Hartford Courant.
"Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton fell ill at an event in Avon this evening. He is currently resting comfortably at UConn Health Center in Farmington," Boughton's campaign said in a statement.

Boughton was reportedly alert when taken by ambulance to an area hospital, according to WTNH.
The popular Danbury mayor is in his ninth term. Last year he successfully underwent brain surgery to remove a large epidermoid cyst.

Breaking: Multiple sources say that Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton collapsed while at a GOP Governor candidate forum hosted by the Avon RTC. Sources say he was given CPR and rushed to the hospital. Witnesses say Boughton was “alert” when he left. @WTNH
