Mayor to Seek Enhancement to Danbury Noise Ordinance

There have been several noise complaints in the city.

Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton will be asking the City Council to review the city’s current noise ordinance at their Tuesday meeting.


According to the Danbury News Times, the mayor said there have been an unprecedented amount of noise complaints in the city.

Noise complaints stem from Rogers Park, bars, taverns and specially-rigged cars with multiple-speaker setups, the paper reports. Boughton will ask the City Council to strengthen the noise ordinance.
