Motorcyclist Injured in Danbury Crash

DANBURY, CT — A motorcyclist traveling westbound on Interstate 84 Friday afternoon crashed into the median when he lost control of his vehicle, state police are reporting.

The Pennsylvania man was riding his motorcycle near Exit 7 when he swerved to avoid the vehicle in front of him, according to the report, which says his motorcycle "veered into the median where it struck the metal beam guardrail."

The man was transported to Danbury Hospital, the full extent of his injuries has not been released.

The crash is still under investigation.
