"Murder, She Wrote" author Donald Bain, and his wife and collaborator on the series, Renee Paley-Bain, will be greeting readers and signing their latest book, Prescription for Murder on Sunday, June 16th, at 2 p.m., at Barnes & Noble in Danbury.
Each book in the "Murder, She Wrote" series is an original mystery novel featuring the character of Jessica Fletcher from the popular and long-running television show. Described by Publishers Weekly as "the modern Miss Marple," Jessica Fletcher has been solving crimes on the pages of 39 books to date. Other books in the series will be available at the store as well.
A New York Times best-selling author, Donald Bain has written more than 100 books, including the comedy classic Coffee, Tea or Me? and the latest in the Margaret Truman Capital Crime series, Experiment in Murder.
While supplies last, the Bains will be offering a special Maine treat, a miniature whoopie pie, with each signing. Danbury's Barnes & Noble is located in the same shopping center as The Christmas Tree Shop and Toys R Us.
